Shaun, a proud Florida native, began his career journey straight out of high school, turning a part-time job into a full-time commitment with a general contractor. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, Shaun started his career in the electrical field, completing a rigorous 4-year apprenticeship program to become an electrician. With his keen attention to detail, he swiftly rose through the ranks, managing significant projects such as Shands Hospital, UF, and Frank Deluca YMCA. After 11 years as an electrician, Shaun's expertise led him to general contracting, where his exceptional scheduling prowess and understanding of the job workflow shone. He excels in MEP trades and prioritizes customer service, instilled by his grandfather, a Baptist preacher and general contractor. In January 2020, Shaun founded Empire, driven by his passion for commercial construction and a commitment to excellence. He takes pride in completing projects ahead of schedule and under budget, embodying his dedication to quality and efficiency. Outside of work, Shaun dedicates his free time to community outreach programs such as living nativity at Good Shepard Church. He cherishes moments with his family, enjoying weekends on the boat or hunting in the woods. Shaun's journey from humble beginnings to entrepreneurial success is a testament to his perseverance, dedication, and commitment to excellence. His impact extends beyond construction projects, leaving a lasting legacy of service and leadership in his community.

Samantha began her career at Empire as an office manager and quickly ascended to roles of greater responsibility, ultimately becoming a proficient project manager and estimator as well as Qualifier for the company. As a female Contractor in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Samantha has become a beacon of leadership and expertise. Her ability to navigate complex projects, manage teams effectively, and deliver results on time and within or under budget has earned her a reputation as a trusted industry leader. With over a decade of experience in employee management, hiring, and business organization, Samantha has honed her skills and expertise to effectively lead teams and drive successful projects. Her foundation in Business Management, Marketing, and Administration, with an Associate in Science degree, coupled with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Management, has equipped her with the knowledge and acumen to excel in her multifaceted role. She firmly believes in the power of teamwork as the driving force behind success, fostering collaboration and cohesion within her teams to achieve outstanding results. Continuing to leverage her extensive experience and educational background, she is dedicated to leading impactful projects, inspiring her team, and contributing to the continued growth and success of her organization. In her free time, Samantha cherishes her free time with family, outdoor adventures, and finds solace in exploring her faith.

Michelle's journey from realtor to integral part of the Empire Construction team showcases her exceptional skills and dedication. With a background spanning banking, sales, and brokerage, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her passion for customer relationships and commitment to her family and team serve as constant sources of inspiration. Beyond work, Michelle enjoys quality time with her loved ones and adventures in Tennessee or cruising in her Jeep.

Nanette is a seasoned bookkeeper with over 30 years of experience across diverse industries. Hailing from the southwest, she's traversed multiple states, finally settling in Ocala to be close to family. Grounded in her faith, Nanette finds joy in reading, crafting flower arrangements, and cherishing moments with her loved ones. Her guiding motto is to always be a part of the solution, not the problem. As a dedicated member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, Nanette exemplifies professionalism and expertise in her field.

As Office Manager at Empire Construction Management, Stephanie brings more than 17 years of operations management experience. Her expertise in office administration, process coordination, and organizational management helps ensure the day-to-day operations of the company run efficiently and effectively.

She is dedicated to supporting both clients and team members by maintaining organized workflows, improving operational processes, and fostering a professional, welcoming office environment. Known for her attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to exceptional service, she plays a vital role in keeping projects and business operations on track.

Stephen Sims brings more than 40 years of construction industry experience to his role as Estimator and Project Manager at Empire Construction. His career has included manufactured home installation, site construction, commercial construction management, and estimating, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of every phase of the building process.

Stephen works closely with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to develop accurate estimates and ensure projects are well-positioned for success before construction begins. He is committed to delivering high-quality projects at competitive prices while supporting field teams with the resources they need to execute efficiently. An OSHA 30 Certified professional, Stephen continues to expand his knowledge through ongoing industry education and training.

What Stephen enjoys most about construction is building relationships. As a lifelong Central Florida resident, he values serving clients, strengthening his community, and working alongside a team dedicated to integrity, quality, and excellence. Guided by Colossians 3:23, he strives to approach every project with humility, professionalism, and a servant's heart.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and two grandchildren, as well as traveling, hunting, fishing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.

Eric joined Empire in 2022, bringing with him an extensive background in construction and project management, coupled with his dedication to community revitalization, which makes him a valuable addition to the Empire team. His focus on problem-solving and cost reduction aligns perfectly with the company's goals. Eric's inspiration stems from the challenges each project brings, driving him to succeed while maintaining a client-centric approach. With more than 40 years of experience in the skilled trades, Randy is a highly accomplished construction professional whose expertise spans virtually every aspect of residential construction. His extensive background includes HVAC, carpentry, roofing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, site preparation, marine repair, autobody work, and engine maintenance, making him a valuable and versatile leader in the field.

Randy’s professional philosophy is simple and unwavering: “Do it right or don’t do it at all.” This commitment to excellence is reflected in the quality, reliability, and attention to detail he brings to every project. His hands-on experience, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to craftsmanship have earned him the respect of colleagues, clients, and industry professionals alike.

As Residential Director, Randy serves as a trusted resource for both field teams and leadership, providing expert guidance and practical solutions across a wide range of construction challenges. His wealth of knowledge and willingness to assist others make him an invaluable member of the organization and a go-to source for support on job sites.

Outside of work, Randy has been happily married for 34 years and is the proud father of two adult daughters and grandfather to one grandchild. Known for his integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to family, he enjoys fishing, boating, and spending quality time with loved ones whenever he can.

Yadir's journey from Costa Rica to becoming a valued member of the Empire team showcases his dedication and diverse skill set. With experience in various aspects of construction, including project management and specialty trades, he brings a unique perspective to his role. Yadir's commitment to quality, integrity, and family values, along with his passion for creating homes where memories are made, drives his professional endeavors. Outside of work, he finds joy in spending time with loved ones, practicing his faith, and enjoying activities like BBQing and visiting the gun range.

Rogelio Arocho Jr. is a Residential Superintendent at Empire Construction with more than 22 years of residential construction experience. Specializing in framing, quality control, and field operations, he oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring every home is built safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Rogelio manages daily job site operations, coordinates with subcontractors, and keeps projects on schedule. OSHA 30 Certified, he is committed to maintaining safe, organized, and productive job sites.

He is proud to have advanced from supervisor to superintendent through hard work and dedication. Rogelio enjoys helping clients bring their vision to life and embraces every project as an opportunity to learn and grow.

He values Empire Construction's collaborative team and believes success comes from knowing when to move quickly, when to slow down and think, always putting safety first, and approaching every challenge with patience and practicality.

Outside of work, Rogelio enjoys boating, fishing, kayaking, staying active at the gym, and creating lasting memories with his loving wife, family, and grandchildren. He is proud to be an Abuelo and credits the love and support of his wife as one of the greatest blessings in his life.

Meet our esteemed office companion, Murphy! Adopted from the quaint town of Murphy, North Carolina, Murphy brings a unique blend of tranquility and intelligence to our workplace. While his calm demeanor soothes even the busiest of days, his sharp mind ensures he's always ready to tackle any challenge. Though occasionally vocal when silence is preferred, Murphy's endearing bark only adds to his charm. When not lending his wisdom to the team, you can find him contentedly chewing on his bone or gleefully riding shotgun on the side by side, spreading joy wherever he goes. Murphy is more than just a dog; he's an integral part of our office family.
